The One Show want to hear from disabled people who face problems when using public transport

The popular show on BBC One is making a film exploring the issues faced by disabled people from all over the country whilst using public transport and are asking for your contributions.

Perhaps on your journey accessible toilets have been out of order? Spaces reserved for wheelchair users have been taken up by luggage? Or maybe you haven’t had the help you need to get off a bus or a taxi? If you have faced problems when using public transport, be it on a tram, train, bus, taxi, plane or the Tube, the One Show want to hear from you.

When you genuinely encounter a problem, they are asking for you to film what’s going on using your phone or camera and describe what’s happening.

Once you have this footage, it can be sent to Laura Pennington, a researcher on the show via email at: or phone on 0161 335 8902. In addition, if you would like to know more about the project, Laura is happy to answer any questions you may have.
