Accessible Volunteering

To mark National Volunteers Week we had a show devoted to Accessible Volunteering and the huge benefits volunteers bring to our communities. The show includes discussion around the difference between supported volunteering and accessible volunteering, and dispels myths around disabled people volunteering.

There are guest speakers:

Daniel Yates – elected councillor for Moulescoomb and Bevendean, chair of Health and Wellbeing committee

Katharine Russell – Volunteer Co-ordinator at Possability People

PLUS Vox Pops from Possability People volunteers
