Mental Wellbeing

We conducted a consultation between 27/01/14 – 26/03/14. We ran an online survey, which was distributed to all members and via our social media networks and contact lists.

We also held a GIG consultation meeting on 4/3/14 to explore the consultation questions further and allow for discussion on the topic. We also delivered the consultation to the BSL-user group Ourspace on 25/3/14 to ensure greater engagement with the Deaf community.

This is by far the most popular consultation we have ever conducted which shows there are a lot of disabled people who feel this is a significant topic, and most of them had relevant personal experiences to draw on when responding to the consultation. It also reflects recent efforts to promote our work and extend our reach in the city.
