Members suggested a scheme were the park provided Disability-Awareness trained volunteers who could act as sighted guides or general assistants to help improve the access of the park
The consultation meeting was attended by people with a range of impairments, including visually impaired and blind guide dog users as well as wheelchair users. Some of the participants were regular users of the park (i.e. weekly) while others were occasional visitors. Other members of the Get Involved Group provided feedback via email which has been used in this report.
